Hey everyone, I came across the case of Greg Mickey, the diver who went missing near Frying Pan Shoals back in 2005. It's been puzzling me, especially the part about his weight belt being found open on the ocean floor. I mean, with the strong currents that day, does it make sense that the belt stayed in one place for four days? I've read that sometimes currents can be unpredictable and objects can get lodged in crevices, but it still seems odd. Could that weight belt have been carried further before settling, or does this hint at some specific spot where something went wrong?
