Hey everyone, I’ve been quietly following the case of Selfa Flores for some time, and something's been on my mind. Does anyone else find it strange how little media coverage her case has gotten over the years? It's like she just vanished without a trace, and there's barely any mention of her in the news. I wonder if something slipped through the cracks back in 2005. I know media can sometimes focus more on certain cases over others, but Selfa deserves to have her story heard too. Maybe if we can raise more awareness, it might lead to new tips and information. What do you all think? Any ideas on how to get her story more visibility? Let's not let her be forgotten.
Did anyone else catch the detail about the weather on the day Selfa went missing? I was looking into old weather reports, and it seems like there was an unusual cold front in Des Montes around that time. Temperatures dropped quite a bit, which might have affected search efforts initially. Could this have played a role in her disappearance or the immediate search? It's strange how little details like this can sometimes make a difference in cold cases. If anyone has more info on how the search was impacted by the weather or if any local searches were conducted in inclement conditions, please share. Every little bit helps in piecing together what might have happened.
Has anyone else noticed the number of unsolved cases out of New Mexico? Selfa Flores disappeared back in '05 from Des Montes, and it seems like her case has really gone cold. I was looking into the details, and it’s baffling how little information there is about her disappearance. I feel like there should be more community awareness or online discussions to keep these cases alive, so people don’t forget. Does anyone know if there have been any local movements or vigils to keep Selfa's name out there? Every bit helps. Would love to hear from locals or anyone familiar with the area about what's being done to help solve these cases.
