Has anyone else been following the mysterious disappearance of Christian Glen Hall and David Todd Andrews on the *Gypsy II*? ? I find it so odd that they turned down a civilian boater's help when their boat was supposedly taking on water. It makes me wonder if there was more going on that we don't know about. It's possible they didn't want the encounter with the civilian boater to draw any attention or bring authorities into the picture. Does anyone here have experience with boating? How serious would you consider taking on water in the Gulf of Mexico, especially with a 15-year-old on board? It's been years with no leads, and it's so puzzling how a large boat and two people could just vanish like that. Curious to hear what others think might have happened out there.
Has anyone else been looking into those reported sightings of Christian and David off the coast of Louisiana? I can't help but wonder if anyone might have seen something more after they were noticed taking on water. Gulf boating communities are pretty tight-knit, and it's surprising that no other boaters reported anything if they were in distress. Also, does anyone have more background info on Andrews? The fact that he was able to take a teenager on what sounds like a long journey without raising alarms sooner is alarming to me. I mean, legally and sensibly, a trip like this should've had more eyes on it. It's as if they just vanished into thin air! Has anything like this happened before in those waters?
Anyone else find it odd that Christian's mother waited six weeks to report him missing? I understand circumstances can be complicated, but that just feels like a long time when a kid is involved. Maybe she thought he’d come back on his own, especially if he knew Andrews. But then again, if he didn’t have her permission, you'd think alarm bells would go off sooner. Does anyone have more insights into their family dynamics that might explain this? Also, curious if anyone's heard about sightings of the boat or anything suspicious in nearby ports. These cases can have so many layers. ?
