Hey everyone, I've been following Susan Smith's case for a while, and something about her abandoned vehicle just doesn't sit right with me. It was found a week after she vanished on Brooke Park Drive, but how did it get there without anyone noticing in the neighborhood? It's a pretty distinctive car, being a blue Dodge Durango and all. Did someone know the area well enough to park it without drawing attention, or did they abandon it quickly in the middle of the night? Also, leaving her stuff behind suggests it wasn't a planned disappearance. Thoughts on who might've had access to the vehicle or where else to dig for clues? I was scrolling through old missing persons cases and came across Susan J. Smith from Toledo. The detail about her being last seen at the VFW post is striking. It makes me wonder if anyone from around there noticed anything unusual that afternoon in March 2006. Given it was between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., there might have been other patrons or employees around. Does anyone know if there was any footage from nearby businesses' security cameras? It seems odd that her vehicle was found a week later in a different location with personal belongings left behind. Adds a layer of mystery to her disappearance. Just speculating, but maybe someone local has a puzzle piece that could help?
