Has anyone else looked into the role of the tracking dogs in Colt Clark's case? It puzzles me that the dogs couldn't pick up his scent beyond the house. In many missing persons cases, dogs have proven vital in tracing where someone might have gone, yet here it seems like there was just... nothing. Is it possible environmental factors or something at the scene might have thrown them off? Or could it imply something more disturbing happened within the house itself? I’ve read that sometimes strong scents or certain substances can hinder tracking dogs, but it just adds another layer of mystery to this already complex case. Thoughts?

I've been following Colt Clark's case for some time now, and one thing that really baffles me is how nobody seemed to question the runaway story earlier. The fact that the tracking dogs couldn't pick up his scent beyond the house should have been a major red flag from the beginning, right? With everything that came out later, it just makes you wonder how these situations slip through the cracks until it's too late. I also often think about how Homer must have felt at such a young age going through all of this, having to hold on to that truth for years before he was able to come forward. It's just such a tragic layer on top of an already horrific case. Does anyone else find it strange that despite the convictions, they still haven’t found Colt's remains? What are people's thoughts on where they might search next or how they can move forward with the investigation?
