Has anyone else been curious about the nonfunctional cell phone found in Brandi's car? It was her ex-boyfriend's, but I'm wondering why it was there and whether it might hold some clues. Could it have been used as a decoy, or was it just something Brandi carried around for another reason? I know it's not uncommon for people to keep old phones around, but leaving it in the car seems odd. Especially since there was some activity on her working phone after she went missing. Could this phone have been meant to throw off investigators? It just feels like yet another bizarre twist in this case that hasn't gotten enough attention.

I've been following Brandi Wells's case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the gas can found in her trunk. Her family didn't recognize it, so where did it come from? Could this mean that someone else was planning on helping themselves if she ran out of gas, or maybe used it to lure her out of the car? It's also strange considering her car was abandoned on I-20.
