I was reading about Calvin Atchley’s case, and something really struck me about the location where he was found. The car was parked behind 512 Linwood Avenue, which seems like a secluded spot. Does anyone here familiar with Columbus or that area have insights on what it might have been like back in 1996? Was it known for being particularly dangerous or isolated? It makes me wonder if someone knew this area would be a good place to commit such a terrible crime without being noticed. I can’t imagine what his family must be going through all these years without answers. Their strength through this unimaginable pain is beyond anything I can comprehend. If sharing info about the area could lead to even the smallest clue, it seems worth asking.
I've been following Calvin Atchley's case for a while, and something that always caught my attention is the location where his body was found. 512 Linwood Avenue seems like a pretty specific spot for someone to end up—especially inside a car. Does anyone know if this location had any significance to Calvin? Was it a place he frequented or perhaps met up with someone? It just seems odd that with such a conspicuous crime scene, there aren't any witnesses or security footage that could have given more clues back in '96. It must be so difficult for his family not to have more answers after all these years. Let's hope that someone with vital information finds the courage to come forward soon. #JusticeForCalvin #NeverForget
