I've been researching the disappearance of Billingsley, and one thing that keeps coming back to me is the significance of the dark green Mazda Protege. It feels like such a crucial clue. Three men were reportedly inside, and I can't help but wonder if anyone at Bennett's Trailer Park or the surrounding area saw them or recognized the car. A dark green vehicle isn't the most common color, so it seems like it would stand out a bit. I'm curious if this car or a similar one was seen around Opelika often or if it was just passing through the area. If anyone has any info on sightings of this car around that time, even a small detail might lead somewhere.
I’ve been following the Billingsley case for a while now, and something keeps gnawing at me about that dark green Mazda Protege he was last seen getting into. Does anyone know if there’s ever been any progress on identifying the three men inside the car? It feels like with a vehicle and possible license plate from Macon County, that would’ve been a solid lead. Even just knowing who those guys were might shed some light on what happened to him. I’d love to hear if anyone has any insights or updates on that angle.
