Curious if anyone here has looked into the angle of Charles Allen Jr.'s personal relationships? Considering he was using the name Neo Babson Maximus, I'm wondering if any friends or acquaintances knew him by that name and might have additional insights. Was he involved with any groups or clubs at UMass Dartmouth where he might have met someone who might have influenced his decisions or offered him a place to hide? Additionally, any mention of odd behavior or encounters that might not have been reported in the initial police investigation? It's baffling and tragic, but sometimes revisiting and expanding on the social aspects of someone's life can lead to new leads or understanding. ?

Has anyone else looked into how much the name change could have influenced Charles's behavior and decisions around the time of his disappearance? I can't help but think that officially changing his name to Neo Babson Maximus might have been more significant than it first appears, especially considering his mental state. Could it have been an attempt to reinvent himself, or was it somehow part of the paranoia he was feeling? The timing just seems too close to the events leading up to October 12 to be purely coincidental. Also, maybe it’s worth considering how that might relate to the fact that he was off his meds. Any thoughts or insights? It's a piece of this puzzle that I haven't seen discussed much, but it seems like it might be relevant.

Hey everyone, I was just reading through the details of Charles Allen Jr.'s case, and something that caught my eye was the whole thing with his name change to Neo Babson Maximus. It seems like such a unique and significant decision, especially since it happened right before he went missing. Do you think there's any relevance to why he chose those names, or what they might signify? Given his mental health struggles at the time, I'm curious if there might be more layers to this story. Maybe it was a way to reinvent himself or escape from something he felt was closing in on him? Would love to hear any thoughts or similar cases where a name change played a role in the person's disappearance.
