Does anyone else think it's interesting how technology might play a part in Yincan Dong's case? I mean, we're in NYC, one of the most surveilled cities with cameras practically everywhere. If Yincan was last seen on October 23, there must be some footage that could be helpful, right? It's puzzling that we haven't heard more about possible leads from surveillance. Maybe the NYPD has something but hasn't released it yet? Just thinking out loud here, but I'm hoping they can piece together his movements. If anyone has tips on how to access public surveillance or areas to check in NYC, it might be a good idea to start there. Let's bring this young man home!
I was thinking about how little information we have on Yincan Dong's habits or any recent changes in his life. Has anyone heard if he was under any unusual stress lately, maybe from school or anything else that could be relevant? I read somewhere that teens sometimes leave voluntarily but don't plan it through, and end up in precarious situations. If that was the case here, maybe someone might have seen him in places he often visited or heard something from friends or classmates. Any info could really help piece things together at this point. Please keep sharing!
