Wow, this case has been a tough one for years now. I’ve been following Michael Smith's story since it first appeared on the cold case list, and it just never sits right with me that so few details have come out after all this time. I can’t imagine how hard it must be for his family knowing that Michael's case hasn't been solved after all these years. You have to wonder...was it someone he knew? Or completely random? In cases like this, it often seems like it's just a matter of that one person coming forward with the right piece of information. It’s nice to hear the police are still actively working on it though. Fingers crossed they find something soon. If nothing else, we can all share and keep his story alive, hoping it reaches the right ears. Does anyone else have insights into how these cold cases sometimes eventually get solved? Maybe there's hope yet.
Have any of you heard about the candlelight vigil held annually for Michael Smith? It’s been organized by his friends and family since his tragic death in 2000. I read that they gather every February 13th at a park in Cincinnati, close to where he was found. This yearly event not only serves as a remembrance for Michael but also as a way to keep the community engaged and informed about the cold case. I can’t help but feel for his family as they continue to remember him and keep his memory alive despite the circumstances. It's quite touching to see a community come together like this, and I really hope their efforts eventually lead to some answers for them. Does anyone have more info on this or have attended one of these vigils?
Hey everyone,
I've been following Michael Smith's case for a while, and one thing that really stands out is the support from the community in Cincinnati. It's really touching to see how many people, even after all these years, are still rallying behind this case and keeping Michael's memory alive. From local vigils to online groups dedicated to sharing information, it’s clear that Michael was loved and is not forgotten.
This kind of continued community engagement is so important, not just for generating new leads, but also for supporting the loved ones left behind. If anyone here has attended any events or knows more about how the community is coming together, I'd love to hear about it. We can't let Michael's story fade away, and it's amazing to see people standing united for justice.
Stay safe and hopeful,
