Has anyone else been digging into Mary Ann Tautkus's case? Something that's been bugging me is the timing of the report. Her husband waited four months before reporting her missing. I can't imagine waiting that long if a loved one disappeared without a trace. His statement about taking Mary to meet an unidentified friend to travel to Detroit seems vague, and it's puzzling that no one has been able to identify or even find this "friend" she was supposed to meet. Does anyone have more information on whether this friend has ever been tracked down by investigators? It's so frustrating with the lack of details and leads. It feels like there are gaps in the story that might be crucial in understanding what could have happened to her. Would love to hear if anyone has come across additional info that might shine a light on this part of the case.
Anyone else find it odd how Mary Ann's husband waited a full four months before reporting her missing? I mean, that’s quite a long time. I get that relationships and dynamics can vary, but still. It's not like she was on some long, planned trip. The timing of when he decided to report her absence really stands out to me. Makes you wonder if there was some sort of misunderstanding, or if there’s something else entirely going on behind the scenes that we just don’t know about. What do you all think about how this might factor into the case?
