I'm really intrigued by the part about Howard asking for a few days off right before she vanished. Why would she want a short vacation and not mention it to her husband? It just seems odd to me, especially since she’d never been out of touch with her family before. Maybe she was planning something that, for some reason, she didn’t want her husband to know about. Could she have been meeting someone, or was she possibly feeling some kind of threat that made her need to get away for a bit? I can’t help but think that she knew something was off at the dental clinic but just didn’t feel safe or sure enough to act on it yet. What do you guys think? Could her asking for time off have anything to do with what might have been going on with her employer?
