I was just reading through some of the old articles about Michael James Lee. I’ve been curious about what kind of measures are in place for cases labeled as endangered runaways. Does anyone know if being classified this way affects the level of resources or attention a case receives from law enforcement? It seems like so many of these cases stay cold, like Michael's. With his family still searching for answers after all these years, I can't help but wonder if there’s more that could be done to help these kids and their families. Would love to hear others’ thoughts on how these cases are handled and if anyone has insight into what might help drive new leads.
