Hey everyone, I've been following the details about Damion Bouchelion's tragic murder, and something that has really stuck with me is the lack of resources that law enforcement faced back in 2008. It's so frustrating to hear about cases like Damion's where justice is hard to come by due to limited manpower and support for investigators. East Oakland was such a tough place during those years with crime rates so high, making it incredibly challenging for detectives to keep up. It's heartbreaking to think about Damion's family and how they must feel knowing that his case is one of many that got tangled up in this mess. I wonder what more could have been done, maybe community initiatives or increased funding, that might have helped solve more of these cases back then. Would love to hear thoughts or similar experiences if anyone is willing to share. Stay safe, everyone.
