Hey everyone,
I've been following Shawn Heath's case for a while, and something that's always puzzled me is the lack of witnesses or reports from the neighborhood where he lived. Dayton isn't exactly a small town, so it's hard to believe that nobody saw or heard anything that night. I know it's scary to come forward, especially after so much time has passed, but I'm hoping someone out there remembers even something small.
Also, I wonder if there was ever any canvassing done in the area at the time. Sometimes people are more willing to speak off the record, you know? Especially if it means helping Shawn's family get some answers. Given it's been over two decades, I genuinely hope renewed efforts by the BCI and increased media coverage might jog someone's memory.
