I've been following Cherice Ragins' case, and something that's puzzling to me is the timeline of events right around her disappearance. Elleby claimed he walked her to the bus stop at Route 40 and Rolling Road, but there's no clear information about anyone actually seeing her there. Was there ever any attempt to gather witness statements from people who might have been at or near that intersection around the time Elleby says they were there? It seems like someone would have noticed something, even if it’s just habitually seeing her take that route. Also, does anyone know if surveillance footage from the area was ever reviewed? I can't help but wonder if more should have been done back then to reconstruct her movements that day.
I've been following Cherice Ragins' case for a while, and something that's been on my mind is the location of the bus stop where Travis claims he last saw her. Route 40 and Rolling Road, right? It seems like a fairly busy intersection, which makes me wonder why no one saw anything suspicious that night or even caught a glimpse of her on the bus. Are there any locals who remember if the area had surveillance cameras back in 2010? Or maybe nearby businesses that might have had security footage? It's frustrating that we still don't have more info on her whereabouts after all these years. Would love to hear any thoughts or insights from people who know the area or were around back then.
Has anyone else come across Travis Elleby's past criminal records from before Cherice's disappearance? I was digging through some old news articles and noted some minor offenses, but nothing that would predict such a violent escalation. It's unsettling how controlling behavior can sometimes mask deeper issues until it's too late. It makes me wonder if there were any red flags Cherice or her family might've noticed but didn't realize were serious at the time. It's scary to think about how often things can seem 'normal' on the surface while something much darker is brewing underneath. Would love to hear others' thoughts or findings on this angle.
