Has anyone heard about any updates on DeMarko Pleasant's case? It’s been so many years, and it's so sad to think of his family not having the closure they deserve. I was reading about how the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is still on it, but it made me wonder if there are specific neighborhoods or places in Cincinnati that are notorious for these types of unsolved crimes. It seems like there might be more to uncover about what was happening around Marshall Avenue back then. It's just awful that these cases go on for so long without resolution. If you know anything or remember hearing something from that time, maybe it's worth reaching out to the authorities. It's hard to imagine how his family manages without answers.
Hey everyone,
Just stumbled upon this case while digging through some unsolved cases in Cincinnati, and it really got to me. DeMarko Pleasant was such a young soul, just 23 years old, taken way too soon. What gets me is that this happened back in 2001, and here we are, still without answers all these years later.
It must be incredibly tough for his family and friends still waiting for justice after all this time. I noticed that the Cincinnati PD and the Ohio BCI are hopeful for any piece of information that could crack this open. It makes me wonder if there's something out there that people might know but haven't come forward with yet. Maybe someone will recall something, even the smallest detail might be crucial.
Keeping DeMarko's loved ones in my thoughts. Hopefully, someone will come forward to share what they know, and justice can finally be served.
I was thinking about DeMarko Pleasant's case recently and something that's been bothering me is the location. 3033 Marshall Avenue isn't just some random spot in Cincinnati—it's a pretty busy area. Even back in 2001, I'm sure there were people around who might have seen or heard something that night. How is it possible that no one came forward with information, especially if someone else was out there around the same time DeMarko was shot?
It's heartbreaking to see that the case is still unsolved all these years later, and I really feel for his family. Imagine living with that uncertainty day in and day out. I just hope anyone who might have seen anything—even if it seems minor or trivial—comes forward. Cases have been solved with much less, so every little bit of information could make a difference. DeMarko deserves justice, and his loved ones deserve answers.
