I can't stop thinking about the strange circumstances surrounding Brandon Mouton's disappearance. How did someone just vanish from a barge without anyone noticing? Especially considering it was during working hours. The timing is also puzzling; seen at 8:00 a.m., reported missing by 4:00 p.m. — that's a pretty significant window. Was there not a roll call or any regular check-ins on workers?
And what about safety measures on the barge? If Brandon couldn't swim, were there life vests or any other safety precautions in place? It's unsettling to think he might have accidentally fallen overboard and no one saw or heard anything.
I wonder if the chaos and urgency surrounding the cleanup efforts played a part. Maybe protocols weren't as tight as they should've been. Does anyone know if there were any witnesses or if the barge had any surveillance cameras? Those details could shine some light on this sad situation. His family deserves some answers, and I can't imagine how tough it must be not knowing what truly happened.
Has anyone else looked into the safety measures on those Deepwater Horizon cleanup barges? I’ve been reading about the case of Brandon Mouton, who went missing in 2010, and it seems like there might be some gaps in safety protocols. If Brandon didn’t know how to swim, shouldn’t there have been more safeguards in place, especially considering the conditions they were working in?
I mean, it's concerning thinking about how quickly he could have slipped into the water without anyone noticing. It gives me chills. If anyone has any insights or similar experiences working on those barges, it could really help shed some light on what might’ve gone wrong. It's crazy to think it's been over a decade, and we're still left with so many questions.
