Hey everyone, I've been reading up on the Jeanette Bartee and Roy Addison cases, and something's been bothering me. Has anyone else thought about the possibility of there being some kind of witness intimidation preventing people from coming forward with information? It just seems odd that after all this time, no substantial leads have appeared, especially if Jeanette and her attacker knew each other. I can't help but think of Jeanette's family in all this. Their pain must be unimaginable, dealing not just with her loss but with the lack of answers and justice. I really hope someone who knows something finds the courage to speak up. Does anyone here from Akron remember community reactions back then or have any insights on local dynamics? Could there be more to this that hasn't been brought to light? Let's keep discussing and hopefully push for the answers Jeanette and Roy deserve.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the tragic case of Jeanette Bartee and how the details surrounding her death seem so tangled up in unresolved threads. One aspect that stands out to me is the lack of forced entry into her home. It really makes you wonder about the possibility of trust involved. Who could have possibly betrayed her in such a horrific way? I can't help but feel for her family, knowing someone they knew, or at least Jeanette possibly knew, might have been involved. It adds another layer of torment to an already devastating loss. It must be incredibly painful to have those lingering questions and not knowing who amongst them might have answers or, worse, be responsible. And what about Roy Addison’s case on the same day? The idea that these might be connected due to local drug activity also points to how complex and challenging this investigation must be for the authorities. I genuinely hope someone out there with the slightest bit of information has the courage to step forward. Both families deserve closure, and it brings hope that both communities continue pushing for the truth to come out.
