It's been over two decades since Felix Cade's tragic death, and it just weighs heavy on the heart knowing his family is still waiting for answers. I was reading about other cases in Montgomery County and was surprised to learn how many of them remain unsolved. It seems like resources are stretched thin, but it makes you wonder if there's something more the community can do to support these investigations.
Has anyone here had any experience with community initiatives that help bring attention to cold cases? I remember reading about some towns that organized events or used social media to spread awareness. Maybe we can brainstorm ways to help keep Felix's case and others like it in the spotlight. It feels like we owe it to Felix and his loved ones to not let his story fade away. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
I’ve been following Felix Cade’s case on and off for years, and it’s truly baffling how little progress seems to have been made. One aspect that’s caught my attention is how crucial community involvement is. A lot of cold cases crack open years later because someone finally decides to come forward with what they know.
It makes me wonder: could there be people out there who saw something or heard something back in 2002 but thought it was insignificant or were too scared to speak up? I hope the inclusion of his case in the BCI database gives those people another chance to reconsider sharing what they know. Every little detail could potentially be a game-changer.
The emotional toll on Felix’s family must be unimaginable. Living with unanswered questions for over two decades is a heavy burden. It's my sincere hope that more visibility around this case could lead to justice for Felix and some comfort for his loved ones. If you’re from the Dayton area or know people who lived there, maybe now's the time to ask around and see if someone remembers anything useful.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been thinking about Felix Cade’s case recently, and I wanted to talk about the role the community might play in helping solve it. It’s truly a tragedy that this young man’s life was cut short, and my heart goes out to his family and everyone who knew him.
The fact that this case has remained unsolved for over two decades is really troubling, and it makes me wonder if there are people out there who might know something but haven't come forward yet. Sometimes individuals might hesitate because they think their information isn't relevant or they're fearful of getting involved. If you’re reading this and knew Felix or noticed something unusual back in 2002, even the smallest detail could make a huge difference. It's important to remember that any bit of information could be the missing piece authorities need to unlock this case.
Thank goodness for the efforts of the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation in keeping Felix’s case visible. They serve as a reminder that there’s still hope for justice and closure. For anyone nearby or connected to Dayton, please consider what you might have seen or heard back then. It's never too late to help make a difference.
Sending love and strength to Felix’s family, and hoping for answers soon.
Stay safe, everyone ?
