Has anyone else been down Fayette Road around the time Hobert Webber went missing? I've been doing some digging into old maps and records. I'm curious if there were any significant changes to the area around the late '60s. Roads, businesses, anything that might not be there anymore? Also, did anyone else notice he was wearing quite a bit of jewelry at the time - the Elgin watch and both a class ring and a Masonic ring? Could any local pawn shops from that era hold clues? It intrigues me because while no evidence has suggested foul play directly, those valuables might've made him a target if someone had ill intentions. Thoughts?

It's always intrigued me how some people can just seemingly vanish without a trace, like Hobert Webber. I've been curious about his rings and watch. A Masonic ring and a class ring aren’t exactly inconspicuous – they might have stood out if someone stumbled upon them accidentally. I'm wondering if they were pawned or sold somewhere, and if so, could there be records from shops around that time? Even though it's been decades, it could be a potential lead. Has anyone looked into this angle, or are there any amateur sleuths out there who have knowledge about tracing old pawn shop records? Sometimes the smallest clues can crack a case wide open.
