Hey everyone, I've been diving down the rabbit hole of the Robert Richard Lepsy case, and one detail that really sticks out to me is the condition in which his car was found. It's such an eerie scene—the car just sitting there unlocked at Cherry Capital Airport, keys in the ignition. I couldn't help but wonder about the half-pack of cigarettes on the dashboard. Was it a usual brand for him? Could it have been left as some kind of message or was it just an ordinary oversight? Also, why the airport? If he was planning to vanish on his own, wouldn't there be some kind of record of him purchasing a ticket or something? Or did someone else leave his car there to mislead everyone? I just feel like this little detail could be a big clue if we could only figure out what it meant. Anyone else have thoughts on this or know more about what type of cigarette brand it was?

Hey everyone, I've been digging into Robert Richard Lepsy's case, and something that caught my attention is the condition of his car when it was found. It's interesting that the doors were unlocked and the keys were left in the ignition at the Cherry Capital Airport. It makes you wonder if he had plans to return soon or if it was meant to look like a hurried departure. I know that initially, people thought he left on his own, but this kind of detail seems off to me. Why leave the keys in the ignition unless he was expecting someone else to take over? Or maybe he just didn't care because it was a quick stop. It's odd, especially considering it was a different city from where he worked. The fact that the car was so casually abandoned has me wondering about any potential follow-up with airport staff or surveillance (if it even existed back then). Did anyone check if there was witness testimony of him being seen leaving the airport, or if there was any indication that someone met him there? The D.B. Cooper theory is intriguing, but I can't help thinking there might be something more mundane yet unsettling at play here. Would love to hear what you all think.
