Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Roger Glen Carlson case and I'm really puzzled by the delay in reporting him missing. It wasn't until 2008 that anyone formally reported Roger as missing. That's 36 years! I'm curious if anyone else finds this unusual or has theories on why it took so long? Was it just a lack of close family or friends who noticed, or did something else happen that prevented people from realizing he never came back? It’s strange considering how he had that note in his car and yet still wasn’t reported missing until decades later. Would love to hear your thoughts on why the delay occurred and how it might have impacted the investigation.

Has anyone else delved into the 2008 aspect of Roger Glen Carlson's case? It's so intriguing yet puzzling that he wasn't reported missing until so many years later. I can't help but wonder who finally reported him missing and what prompted them to do so after all those years. Was it a family member, a friend who finally realized he was gone, or possibly someone digging through old records? It just seems like such a long time for an official report to be filed, and given that the car and note had been left in '72, what took so long for someone to bring this to light? It's cases like this that really highlight the importance of immediate reporting and documentation. If anyone has insights or theories about why it took so long or who might have reported it, I'd love to hear more!
