I just keep thinking about how Rodger was found just days before what would have been his 72nd birthday. It’s chilling to realize how someone’s life can be taken away so suddenly and with such senseless violence. I remember hearing that he was known for his friendliness and kindness, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. It's frustrating and sad that after all these years, there's been no justice for him. His family deserves answers and closure. If there's even the slightest bit of information someone has, I hope they come forward. It's never too late to help solve this and give Rodger's loved ones some peace. I’ll be keeping them in my thoughts. What do you all think could be done to bring more attention to unsolved cases like this one?
I came across Rodger Starks' case while digging into unsolved murders in Ohio, and it's been on my mind ever since. Rodger was 71 and living in Dayton when he was taken from this world so violently. I can't help but wonder how such a gentle soul ended up a victim of such a tragedy. It's haunting to think his murderer is still out there, and the pain his family must feel every day is unimaginable.
From what I've gathered, the police and BCI have worked hard but still haven't cracked the case. One thing that puzzles me is why Rodger ended up on the radar of whoever did this. Was it a random act, or did Rodger somehow cross paths with someone dangerous unknowingly?
If anyone has local knowledge or insights into Rodger's life before his death, maybe even the smallest detail could break this wide open. It's crucial we spread the word far and wide to finally give Rodger's family the peace they deserve. Let's hope that with a bit of sharing, someone might come forward with fresh information to bring a glimmer of hope to this cold case.
Has anyone looked into the possibility of a mistaken identity in Rodger Starks' case? Considering the location and context of the crime, it makes me wonder if maybe someone else was the intended target. It's so hard to think about Rodger losing his life in such a tragic way, especially if it wasn't meant to involve him. Even something that seems trivial could provide the breakthrough investigators need. Please, if anyone has even the slightest bit of information, come forward and help bring peace to those who cared for Rodger. We can’t let this remain a mystery any longer.
