Hey everyone, I've been digging into the details surrounding Nicholas Maschuci's disappearance, and something that stands out to me is the borrowed car he was driving—a white 1974 Mercury Grand Marquis. It's odd that the vehicle was abandoned, but apparently, there were no signs of a struggle or anything suspicious found inside. Does anyone know if someone close to him lent him the car? It might be worth considering why he was using a borrowed car for that trip. I also wonder if any forensic examinations were done on the car back then. Being able to have that car sit empty in New York of all places without more clues seems pretty unusual. Could someone have intentionally misled him into taking a different route or meeting someone unknown? It just seems like one more layer to this mysterious case that hasn't been fully explored. Any thoughts on this angle?
