I’ve been following Elaine Faye Lehtinen’s case and something that’s been on my mind is the fact that her car and bicycle were both left at the house. It’s so unusual for someone to disappear without taking any form of transportation, especially in a suburban area like Napa. I find it odd that despite being a Navy officer with a routine and a sense of responsibility, she didn't leave any clue behind. Was it because she trusted whoever she left with, and didn’t feel she would need her car or bike? Or perhaps, could someone have come to her house and convinced or forced her to leave without her belongings? It seems significant that there were no signs of struggle, but her not taking the most basic items just doesn’t sit right with me. What does everyone else think?
