I've been digging into the details of the Rickey Lee Enochs case, and one thing that really stands out to me is how he left saying he'd be back soon but didn't take any essentials with him. It makes me wonder if he genuinely thought it would be a quick outing, maybe just running an errand or catching up with a friend? The unknown person with the Illinois plates is intriguing—how did Rickey know them, or was this a spur-of-the-moment decision to leave with a stranger? The lack of personal belongings hints that he probably didn't plan to be gone long, suggesting he trusted the situation enough not to worry. It’s so puzzling and sad to think this happened back in 1977, and we're still without answers. I wish there were more witnesses or people who could come forward with details, even after all these years. Anyone else have thoughts on this aspect of the case?
