Hey everyone, I've been following cold cases in Ohio and recently came across the heartbreaking murder of George Blackman Sr. in Dayton back in 2003. One aspect that's always struck me about this case is the community involvement—or sometimes, the lack thereof. It's so crucial for cases like this that the local community stays engaged and keeps their eyes and ears open, even years later. I understand that it's been quite some time since his passing, but I believe there's always hope that someone out there holds a key piece of information that could change everything. The efforts by the police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are commendable, but as we've seen with other cold cases, a single tip from the public can make all the difference. If anyone on here is from Dayton or knows someone who might have been around during that time, maybe having casual conversations with older locals could shed some light? Sometimes people remember little details much later on. Let's hope that someone comes forward to help bring some semblance of peace to George's loved ones and justice to him. My heart goes out to his family and friends still hoping for answers after all these years. Stay safe, everyone, and let's keep these unsolved cases visible.
