I came across an intriguing detail related to the Mary Stuart case that I haven't seen discussed often. Has anyone else noticed how unusual it is that the car contained the repaired television along with groceries and laundry? It's almost like Mary completed most of her errands despite whatever happened to them after. Why go through all that trouble of picking up the TV only to abandon it? Also, the car being on a logging road makes me wonder if they took a shortcut or were possibly trying to evade someone. If they were trying to get home quickly, why abandoned there?
It's just peculiar considering they intended to come back before dark, and they were only a few miles from home. Could it be possible they were forced off their usual path or that something happened while they were driving back? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts, especially if you're familiar with the area and understand the usual routes.
