Has anyone ever come across any new info about Benjamin Franklin Gray's checkbook? It's puzzling how it was found near Blue Mesa but nothing else turned up around there. Could the location hold any significance, like maybe someone tried to mislead investigators? I've read theories that hint Ismay might know more than he's said, especially since he lawyered up quickly. But the checkbook’s location feels like it could be a key piece of the puzzle—especially since it was found relatively close to his family's ranch. Would love to hear what others think.

Does anyone else find it odd how Gray's checkbook ended up near Blue Mesa? If he was last seen entering the Chipeta Bar, it doesn't make sense for his checkbook to be anywhere near the ranch. Was it planted there as a distraction, or did he really make it back out there somehow? The checkbook seems like a pretty significant clue that might tell a lot about what happened, yet it doesn’t seem to have led to any solid answers. It's frustrating that nothing else has come up about it after all these years. Anyone have thoughts on why this particular detail hasn't been further explored?
