Has anyone else been fascinated by the alias "Lyle Palmer" that Lindall Ray Benedict, aka Butch, used? It's strange because aliases can sometimes give us small insights into a person’s mindset or activities leading up to their disappearance. Was he using "Lyle Palmer" to cover his tracks, or was it possibly tied to a certain line of work or network of people? Given how little there is on his movements after leaving Lansing, it's hard not to wonder if he was leading a double life, or if the alias was simply a way to protect himself. If anyone knows about the significance of the name or its origin, please share! I feel like piecing together even small parts of his life could help us understand what led to his disappearance.
