Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Potts case from 1981, and something caught my attention that I haven't seen discussed much yet. It's about the note she left on the ironing board. I find it strange that Potts felt the need to leave such a specific note that day, mentioning she should be back from the department store and that the beans were ready. Was this something she did regularly, or could it indicate she planned to make a quick trip with every intention of returning soon? Also, the fact that the house was unlocked and the utility light was on is intriguing. Did Potts usually leave the house unsecured like this during errands, or was this out of the ordinary? Could it suggest she intended to come back quickly, or is there a chance that someone else entered the house after she left? Just throwing ideas around and would love to hear if anyone has come across similar details in other cases. Hopefully, we can piece together more about her state of mind and plans on that particular day. Curious to hear any thoughts!

Hey everyone, jumping in here because I've been diving deep into the Potts disappearance case. One thing that's really puzzling is the decision Potts made to leave the iron on when she went out. I know it might seem trivial, but to anyone who knew her, was this something she commonly did? From my perspective, the iron being left on suggests she might've expected to return home quickly. It doesn’t seem like the action of someone planning to be away for an extended period. Was the area she lived in considered safe enough back then that she wouldn't be overly cautious about leaving things like that out? Trying to piece together if this was a rushed departure or if there might've been some unexpected interruption. Very curious to hear everyone else's thoughts or if anyone's picked up on similar details in other cases.
