Did anyone else hear about the recent developments in the Efren Mendoza Jr. case? I just stumbled upon it today, and it really got me thinking. It's so frustrating how these cases can go cold for years, especially when the victim was so young. From what I read, Efren was just 18 when he was caught in this awful situation, and it sounded like he had so much ahead of him. What's been bugging me is how gang involvement complicates things. It feels like it adds a layer of fear for people who might come forward with details, thinking they might be targeted. I really hope the reward motivates someone who knows something to step up, not just for Efren’s sake, but for his family too. It must be so hard for them holding onto hope all these years. Anyone else have thoughts on why these cases involving gangs take so long to unravel?
