I'm really struck by the support Dan Windom's friends and family have shown over the years. It's clear he was loved by many, and it's hard to imagine the pain they've endured since his tragic passing. I came across his online memorial on Find a Grave, and it really hit me just how much Dan meant to the people around him. They’ve shared so many beautiful memories and stories about who he was—not just someone who was taken too soon, but a cherished father, friend, and community member. It brings up an important reminder to keep this discussion going and not let the case fade into the background. Often in these unsolved cases, it can only take one small piece of information for a breakthrough. My thoughts are with Dan’s family, and I hope they one day get the answers they need. Meeting friends from Roth High School or the congregants at True Vine Holiness Church could lead to more insights as well.
