Has anyone else looked into weather records from July 2, 1983, off the coast of Davenport? I've been curious if any reports of sudden storms or unusual wave conditions could offer clues regarding what might have happened to Sanford Delano, Stephen Cook, and John Lusher. It seems like the area can be pretty unpredictable, and I wonder if anything specific about that day has been documented but overlooked. From what I've researched, even experienced boaters sometimes underestimate the Pacific's power, and maybe that contributed to their mysterious disappearance. Maybe someone with more knowledge about sea conditions or boating safety back then could shed some light on whether environments like that have influenced other cases?
