Hey everyone. I've been researching the Richard W. Powell case from 1984, and something caught my attention about the timing of when his car was found. So, his car was left in Irving, Texas, more than a month after he vanished. Why did it take so long for someone to notice a car abandoned in a parking lot? Was it a remote area, or could it have been moved there later? The delay makes me wonder if whoever is responsible for his disappearance was local and familiar with the area. Maybe they knew the spot where the car wouldn't be noticed immediately? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this.
It’s been so long since Richard W. Powell vanished, and I can’t help but wonder about the timeline and how his car ended up in Irving. It feels so random and out of place, but maybe someone on here is familiar with the area back in 1984 and can offer some insight into what it was like then? With his car abandoned over a month after he was last seen, I'm curious if someone might have noticed it earlier or if it was actually moved there later. Was Irving known for anything in particular during that time that might tie into his disappearance? His family must be desperate for any clues. It’s cases like this that keep me up at night, trying to piece together what could have happened.
