Does anyone else find it odd that there was no visible sign of a struggle at Gherman Collier’s home? From what I understand, it seems like he was targeted, and I'm inclined to believe that he might have known his attacker. I mean, why would you open your door to someone unless you felt comfortable or knew them? This really makes me wonder if there's more to the story that hasn't come to light yet. I feel for his family. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful to not have answers after all these years. Perhaps someone in the neighborhood saw something and doesn’t even realize it’s important. Let's keep sharing his story and hope that any piece of information could finally give his family the answers they deserve.

Has anyone else noticed how strange it is that there were no witnesses or any leads from nearby neighbors on S. Ohio Avenue? I mean, I can’t imagine how devastating it must be for Gherman Collier’s family not to have any closure all these years. It’s like he answered the door and in an instant, everything changed forever. You’d think someone would have at least seen or heard something, especially with such a violent act right at his doorstep. I really hope someone in the area recalls any tiny detail because it might just be the key to solving this tragedy. If anyone knows anything, please consider speaking up, even the smallest piece of information might be crucial.

I’ve been digging into the details surrounding the tragic death of Gherman Collier, and something that's been on my mind is the location where it happened. His home at 301 S. Ohio Avenue—it's a pretty central area in Columbus, right? It's baffling to think such a brazen act could happen in this neighborhood, where people generally feel safe in their homes. Considering the time of year, late December, most folks are preparing for the new year; it’s supposed to be a time of reflection and hope, but for Gherman’s loved ones, it’s filled with unanswered questions and pain. I wonder if it was someone who knew him and took advantage of the time when people are usually home. I can't help but wonder about the community's involvement at that time. Were there witnesses, were people around, or maybe someone who heard something odd that night? It's haunting to think that someone with crucial information might be keeping quiet. Every time I read about these unsolved cases, it reminds me how important it is for the community to come together, not just in remembrance of Gherman but also to prevent others from experiencing such a devastating loss. If any locals are on here, maybe you remember something that could add to the investigation? Any little detail could be the key to getting justice for Gherman and giving his family some peace. Keeping them in my thoughts in hopes that someone will step forward.
