Hey everyone, I've been going down the rabbit hole with Charllotte Irene Lysdale's case, and something that jumps out to me is the whole situation with Jerome Edwin Bye. Does anyone else find it odd that even though there was evidence pointing to Bye's involvement, it wasn't enough to convict him? I wonder if there were any other persons of interest they considered back in the day or if there could've been more pressure to solve the case quickly. Also, how common is it for someone in a real estate position to end up tied to something like this? The intersection of a local figure and a disappearance seems unusual. Would love to hear if anyone has more insight or theories about other suspects the police might've missed!
