I've been following the Thomas John Lytle case for a while, and something that's always stood out to me is the lack of any sightings or evidence of his whereabouts after he left the Buckelew House. It’s really puzzling considering that Kentfield isn’t an isolated area. There are roads, there are people, yet it’s like he just vanished into thin air. One thing I'm curious about is the connection with his friend in Mendocino County. Did anyone ever look into whether this friend could have offered him some sort of transportation even if it was just a ride out of town? Given that Thom had no means to get around himself, this angle really intrigues me. If I remember right, Mendocino County is about a couple of hours drive from Kentfield, so it's not impossible he somehow made his way there, even though it's perplexing with no car or public transport being involved. I wonder if after all these years, they have revisited the area to maybe ask around again or check in with his friend? Sometimes people remember things later that seemed insignificant at the time. If anyone has any updates on this connection or if the authorities have said more about it, I’d love to hear.
