Hey everyone, I’ve been following Haskell Wilson Gonzales's case from 1986 and something’s been gnawing at me. Has anyone ever pieced together why his car ended up at the long-term parking lot at DFW Airport? It's just such a peculiar detail. I mean, if he had intended to catch a flight, wouldn’t there be some record of his travel? And if it wasn’t him who left it there, how did it end up parked like that for so long without drawing any suspicion? Airports usually have pretty tight security, even back in the '80s, right? It just seems weird that no one noticed anything odd. Was it checked for fingerprints or anything that could give a clue as to who might've left it there? Would love to hear your thoughts or any additional info out there that could shed light on this strange aspect of the case.

Does anyone have insight into how vehicles left in airport parking lots were handled back in 1986? I'm curious about Haskell Wilson Gonzales's car being found in long-term parking at DFW. Was it common for cars to sit there for weeks without raising suspicion back then? It seems strange that no significant clues came from the vehicle itself. I wonder if any evidence could have been uncovered if the car had been checked or processed differently. Or maybe someone had access to the car after he went missing? Could the car have been a red herring to mislead investigators? It's these little details that make this case so puzzlying. If anyone has knowledge of parking protocols or vehicle investigations from that time, it might help piece together what happened.
