Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions around the time Gregory Nicely disappeared on January 4, 1987? I was curious if there might have been any severe weather that day which could have played a role in his disappearance. It seems like dangerous weather could complicate search efforts or make it harder for someone to get back if they were lost. I tried to find a detailed weather report for that day but haven't had much luck yet. Any amateur meteorologists here who might have some insight?
