Has anyone else noticed that Cathleen Marie Martin's case hasn’t had a lot of media attention, despite the fact that she left behind young children? I was digging through some old articles from the late 80s and early 90s, and there's just not much out there. It's surprising, especially considering she had made unexpected travel plans by extending her stay in Florida. You would think there would have been more of an outcry or urgency to get her story out there at the time. Maybe it's the lack of specific info about her trip or her contacts in Florida that kept this from getting more coverage? Just seems odd. Anyone else come across any major coverage that I might have missed?

Has anyone looked into the possibility of Cathleen borrowing someone's belongings when she extended her stay in Fort Lauderdale? Some locals might remember someone fitting her description using a different name or alias. Considering she had a couple of aliases already, maybe there's a chance she blended into the community for a short while. It's a stretch, but maybe someone remembers a "Catrina" or "Cathleen" with blonde hair, especially with that unique coffee-colored mark on her arm. Just thinking outside the box here, as sometimes the small details can jog someone's memory. What do you guys think? Could diving into local records or old newspaper ads from that area/time help?
