I came across a newspaper article from 1988 about Norman Lum's disappearance, and it's so frustrating how little information there was back then compared to now. It mentioned that Norman's mother reported him missing when he didn’t come back home that night. Sadly, it seems like there weren't any solid leads from the get-go. With no social media or cell phones back then, I can only imagine how hard it must have been for his family to spread the word and gather information. Does anyone know if there were any search efforts in the surrounding areas when he initially went missing? Curious if anything was found but just never reported. Hope someone out there remembers something that could help.
