David Wayne Mize was 28 when he was last seen at his parents’ home in Olive Branch, Mississippi, on April 18, 1989. Two days later his blue Ford F-150 was found abandoned at the Turtle Creek Apartments in Memphis, Tennessee.

He is described as a White male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and gray eyes. On the day he disappeared he wore a blue t-shirt with a single pocket, khaki pants, and Reebok sneakers. Despite investigations and attention from organizations that assist with missing persons, no significant leads have emerged since the truck was recovered.

The case remains open and authorities continue to seek information. If anyone knew David, saw his truck in Memphis after April 20, 1989, or has other information about his whereabouts, please come forward.
