Hey everyone, I came across John Woodrow Flowers' case and couldn’t help but wonder about the area he disappeared from. Bessemer City in the early '90s was rumored to have some sketchy activities going on, especially related to drug movements. I can't shake the feeling that his transient lifestyle might have accidentally put him in the wrong place at the wrong time. Has anyone here looked into reports or newspaper archives from that period? Maybe there were incidents around Interstate 85 that could provide some clues. Anyone with ties to the area have thoughts on this? Maybe something small could help spark a new lead or insight.
Hey all, I've been digging into the case of John Woodrow Flowers and came across something intriguing. While reading old newspaper archives, I noticed a pattern of disappearances around the same time and area as John's. Could it be that there's a connection between them? The late '80s and early '90s had an uptick in transient lifestyle-related investigations, often swept under the rug because of the drug scene. Does anyone familiar with Gaston County know if there was a larger investigation into these sorts of missing persons cases back then? Trying to piece things together, and any historical context or personal anecdotes would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
