Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about Robert Hines' case and the deep sorrow his family must be feeling, not having any answers after all this time. It's been over 15 years since that fateful day, and I can't imagine how hard it must be for them every day not knowing what really happened. This case, one among many unsolved homicides in Dayton, is a harsh reminder of the work that still needs to be done both by the community and law enforcement. Has anyone here been involved in local advocacy for unsolved cases? I'm curious if there are ongoing efforts or maybe annual vigils that keep the memories of victims like Robert alive. It's really important for these stories to be kept in the public eye so they are not forgotten as just another cold case. Bringing attention to these faces and stories might just encourage someone to come forward with what they know. If any of you have ideas on how we as a community can aid this process, especially spreading awareness or supporting the family, it would be great to hear your thoughts. Let’s keep discussing and pushing for answers for Robert’s family.
