I've been following the case of John Cotton for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the timeline of his visit to the junkyard. I wonder if anyone who was at the junkyard that day remembers seeing or talking to him. Any small interaction could be crucial—maybe someone saw him with someone, or perhaps there's a security camera nearby that captured something of interest. It's so important to bring forward any details, no matter how insignificant they may seem. My heart goes out to Mr. Cotton's family; living with unanswered questions for so long must be incredibly difficult. Let's hope that by spreading the word, we can get closer to finding out what really happened that day.
I was reading about John Cotton’s case again, and something about that day really stands out to me. John had left the shop earlier to visit a junkyard on Atkinson Street. Has anyone looked into who he might’ve interacted with there? I mean, it feels like such a critical piece of the timeline if he came in contact with someone who knew he’d be at the shop alone later.
I can only imagine how hard it must be for John’s family, not knowing who took him away so suddenly. It’s been so long, and it feels like someone, somewhere, knows something about it. If you have any info, no matter how small it seems, it's worth passing it along to the authorities. I really hope someone will step up and provide the missing piece needed to help solve this case.
Does anyone remember if there were any security cameras around Cotton's shop or nearby businesses on McGuffey Road back in 2008? Considering the tragic circumstances of John Cotton's murder, it's been on my mind whether there might have been any footage that could have captured something useful. Even though technology wasn't as advanced then as it is now, sometimes those older systems could still catch enough detail to be helpful.
I've seen cases where grainy images or barely-there footage make all the difference, even years later. If anyone knows if footage was ever reviewed, or if there were businesses nearby that might have had cameras, it could be significant. My thoughts are with John's family during these difficult times. Hopefully, someone in the Youngstown community remembers something that could shed light on this tragic event.
