Does anyone else find it unusual how little information there is on Carlos Rodriguez's movements before he disappeared back in 1991? It’s such a small window of time, and yet there seems to be nothing concrete about who he might have been with or where he was last seen. I find it especially odd considering he had distinctive tattoos and features that would make him easier to recognize or remember, particularly in a tight-knit community like Roxboro. With cases like these, you would think at least someone might have seen something, right? I’m really curious if anyone from that area around that time remembers any sightings or rumors that circulated. Surely, there must be someone with a bit of info that hasn't come forward yet? Let’s keep Carlos in the discussions, in hopes that someone, someday, recalls something that could give his family some answers.

I've been doing some digging into Carlos Rodriguez's case, and I came across something puzzling. It seems there was a brief mention in a local 1991 newspaper article about a young man matching Carlos's description who was seen at a bus station in Durham not long after October 1st. The article didn't use his name but mentioned the tattoos, specifically the one with the "gangster wearing a hat," which is pretty distinctive. Has anyone else come across this tidbit? It makes me wonder if he was planning to leave the area but didn’t manage to, or if something happened before he could. It's frustrating how little information has made it into the public sphere. Just once, I’d love to see these old leads explored more deeply or resurfaced to see if someone remembers something new after all these years. Could we work together to maybe get this detail back into the spotlight somehow?
