Has anyone else found it odd that Deanna left her cats behind? For someone living alone, pets often become like family, and it's hard to imagine she'd just leave them without any plans for their care. I've been doing a little digging, and it's not uncommon for loved ones to mention things like this as red flags. It's like, why would she make arrangements for her son to be with his dad and not do anything about her pets? This along with the untouched money just doesn't add up to me. I know it's not much to go on, but small details can sometimes shed new light on these cold cases. Thoughts?
Does anyone know if they've ever been able to track down the guy Deanna was supposed to meet about the car? I’ve read that she was planning to check out a vehicle with him, but I've never seen any info about if they found him or the car. Considering he was a "new acquaintance,” it seems bizarre that there aren't more details on this angle. Also, it makes me wonder if his identity was even verified. Like, did they check whether or not this person was the last to see her? Kind of seems like a crucial lead that either went nowhere or was never properly looked into. Would be interested in hearing if anyone has more info on this.
